Marcelo Scharlau Coelho is a Product Designer with more than 8 years of experience in technology, driving user-oriented solutions for worldwide companies such as the Expedia Group, Deezer, Evernote, Cartoon Network, and Décathlon.
He’s also the co-founder of Shoot! I Smoke, an app aimed to raise awareness of the decrease of air quality in urban centers. The app, downloaded more than 200.000 times, was featured at global media outlets such as the BBC, NBC News, Tencent QQ, Huffington Post, and the San Francisco Chronicle.
Marcelo has a Master’s degree with honors at L’École de Design Nantes Atlantique, France, in their User Experience Design program focused on tangible interfaces.
Pamela M. Jasper, PMP is a global financial services technology leader with over 30 years of experience developing front office capital markets trading and quantitative risk management systems for investment banks and exchanges in NY, Tokyo, London, and Frankfurt. Pamela developed a proprietary Credit Derivative trading system for Deutsche Bank and a quantitative market risk VaR system for Nomura. Pamela is the CEO of Jasper Consulting Inc, a consulting firm through which she provides advisory and audit services for AI Ethics governance. Based on her experience as a software developer, auditor and model risk program manager, Pamela created an AI Ethics governance framework called FAIR – Framework for AI Risk which was presented at the NeurIPS 2020 AI conference.
Pamela is available as an Advisor, Auditor and Keynote Speaker on AI Ethics Governance. She is a member of BlackInAI, The Professional Risk Managers Industry Association, Global Association of Risk Managers and ForHumanity.
Renée Cummings is an AI ethicist, data activist, criminologist, criminal psychologist and therapeutic jurisprudence specialist. She’s also the historic first Data Activist in Residence, at the University of Virginia’s School of Data Science and a community scholar at Columbia University. Advocating for more diverse, equitable, and inclusive AI, she is on the frontline of ethical AI, generating real time responses to many of the consequences of AI.
Renée also specializes in AI for social good, justice-oriented AI design, social justice in AI policy and governance, and using AI to save lives. She is committed to using AI to empower and transform communities by helping governments and organizations navigate the AI landscape and develop future AI leaders.
A thought-leader, motivational speaker, and mentor, Renée is an articulate, dynamic and passionate speaker who has mastered the art of creative storytelling, deconstructing complex topics into critical everyday conversations that inform and inspire.
Nikita Lukianets, a Founder of the Open Ethics initiative that fosters the inclusive dialogue between experts and citizens to design systems where humans and AI successfully work together. Nikita is also a Founder and CTO at PocketConfidant AI, a 24/7 coaching technology powered by artificial intelligence.
Nikita Lukianets has more than 10 years of experience in Human-Computer Interaction and has partnered with multiple organizations to help them build human-centered interfaces. While working in Microsoft at Developer and Platform Evangelism Division, Nikita was leading a startup support program helping young technology companies to develop their products for scale.
Nikita received an MBA in innovation management from Politecnico di Milano School of Management and M.Sc. in Applied Physics from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
